Your information
Privacy policy
Conversations about spending often involve details that have not been shared with anyone. This page explains, in plain terms, what this website collects, how enquiries reach the practice, and how confidentiality is treated.
Privacy policy
1. Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to visitors of hypnotherapyforshoppingaddiction.com, operated by Hypnotherapy Pvt Ltd. It describes how information submitted through this website is handled.
This policy relates to the website. Information shared during a consultation or a session is additionally subject to the confidentiality described in section 8.
2. Information you choose to provide
This website does not require you to provide any personal information in order to read it. Information is collected only when you actively choose to send an enquiry.
If you use the enquiry form, you may provide:
- Your name, or the name by which you would like to be addressed
- Your telephone number
- Your email address
- Your preferred method of contact, if you select one
- The content of the message you write
You decide what to include. Please avoid including detailed medical, clinical or financial information in an initial written enquiry — those matters are better discussed directly.
3. How the enquiry form works
This is a static website with no database and no server-side form processing. When you submit the enquiry form, the details you have entered are assembled into a message and passed to the email application on your own device, addressed to hypnotherapy28@gmail.com.
In practical terms this means the website itself does not store, transmit or receive your enquiry. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it from your own email application, and you can review or amend the message before doing so. If your device does not open an email application, no message is sent at all.
Once you send that email, it is handled by your own email provider and by the email service used to receive it, in accordance with their respective policies.
4. Information collected automatically
This website does not use analytics software, advertising tags, tracking pixels or visitor-profiling tools.
As with virtually all websites, the hosting provider that serves these pages may automatically record standard technical information in server logs — such as IP address, browser type, requested page and time of request — for the purposes of security, diagnostics and maintaining service. This information is generated and retained by the hosting provider rather than collected by this website, and it is not used to identify or profile individual visitors.
5. Cookies and tracking
This website does not set cookies for tracking, analytics, advertising or profiling purposes.
Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts to render the typography on this site. When your browser requests those font files, the request is made to Google's servers and is subject to Google's own privacy practices. No other third-party content is embedded in these pages.
6. How your information is used
Where you contact the practice by telephone, email or the enquiry form, the information you provide is used only to:
- Respond to your enquiry
- Arrange a conversation or an appointment if you wish to proceed
- Provide information you have specifically asked for
Your information is not used for marketing, is not added to any mailing list, and is not used for any purpose unrelated to your enquiry.
7. Sharing of information
Your information is not sold, rented, traded or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. It is not disclosed to any third party except:
- Where you have given clear consent for a specific disclosure
- Where disclosure is required by applicable law, regulation or a valid legal process
- Where there is a serious and immediate risk of harm to you or to another person, in which case appropriate authorities or emergency services may need to be involved
8. Confidentiality of sessions
What is discussed in a consultation or session is treated as confidential. Conversations about spending frequently involve information that has not been shared with a partner, family member or anyone else, and that is treated with the seriousness it deserves.
The limited exceptions are the same as those set out in section 7: consent, legal requirement, or a serious and immediate risk of harm. Where any concern of that kind arises, it will wherever possible be discussed with you first.
9. Retention of information
Because this website does not store submissions, there is no website database in which enquiries are held.
Correspondence you send by email, together with any contact details necessary to respond to you, is retained only for as long as is reasonably required to deal with your enquiry and any resulting arrangement, or as required by applicable law. You may ask at any time for correspondence to be deleted.
10. Security of communication
Reasonable care is taken to keep information secure. However, no method of transmitting information over the internet is completely secure, and this should be borne in mind when deciding what to include in a written message.
It is also worth remembering that devices, email accounts and phones are sometimes shared. If discretion is important to you — for example, if a household member has access to your email — please say so in your first message and a suitable arrangement can be made. You are never required to put anything sensitive in writing.
11. Your choices and requests
You are in control of what you share. You may:
- Read this entire website without providing any information at all
- Contact the practice by telephone rather than in writing
- Ask what correspondence is held about you
- Ask for correspondence to be corrected or deleted
- Ask that a particular contact method is not used
- Withdraw an enquiry at any point, without explanation
To make any of these requests, please use the contact details in section 15.
12. Children and young people
This website is intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and information is not knowingly collected from anyone under the age of eighteen through this website. Where a young person may benefit from support, a parent or guardian should make contact and appropriate professional referral will be discussed.
13. Third-party resources
Where this website suggests seeking support from qualified healthcare, mental-health or financial professionals, those are independent parties. Any information you share with them is governed by their own privacy practices, not by this policy.
Any external website linked from these pages operates under its own privacy policy, over which Hypnotherapy Pvt Ltd has no control.
14. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in practice or in legal requirements. The current version is always the one published on this page, and the date at the top indicates when it was last revised.
